We (FAB Enterprises & Innovations Ltd/The Silica Shop Ltd) are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998)

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second for the normal operation of any/all applications you have subscribed to or purchased.

We will not e-mail or send text messages (SMS) to you in the future, other than to notify you of the status of various services you have subcribed to; unless you have given us your consent. Your consent is initially implied by purchasing any product or service from our various websites.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email or text message (SMS) from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

• your name
• company name (if applicable) 
• address
• phone number(s)
• email address
• VAT registration number (if applicable)
• Past orders & order details

Credit/debit card details are not collected or stored by us. Our trading partners: WorldPay, NoChex, PayPal (UK) & FastPay, have their own privacy policies which should be reviewed.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) or to any third party, with the exception of our trading partners, we will always obtain your consent first.

Cookies
Our website creates two cookies on your machine, one containing session and state information for use with our shopping basket feature, the other containing unique information which is used to automatically log you on to our website, this cookie is optional. The information within either cookie does NOT include personal or financial information or in any way can be used to identify you personally. Our website requires cookies to be allowed in your browser to permit creation and to allow features and actions on the site to work without restriction. Please be aware that should cookies be disabled, features and actions that will be reduced in functionality or disabled altogether which includes the shopping basket.  Any cookies created and used for the shopping basket will be deleted when you leave our website or close the browser. The cookie used to automatically log you on will remain on your machine.
